Intellectual Playground is the think tank of Castrum Peregrini. It develops and implements projects that analyse developments of European societies and develop strategies and content to facilitate togetherness and living in diversity.
All activities draw upon a network of European academics, artists, activists, cultural- and civil society organisations, universities, schools and enterprises. Activities provide the cultural and educational sector with intelligence, ideas and content. These can be (artistic) research projects, (EU funded) strategic partnerships, working groups with thematic discussions under the Chatham House Rule or informal networking meetings.
Intellectual Playground projects lead to online and print publications, public lectures and broadly inspire the Memory Machine cultural programme of Castrum Peregrini.
Intellectual Playground projects are funded by the European Commission, Pauwhoff Fonds, Mondriaan Fonds and Amsterdam Fonds voor de Kunst.
