My Future Heritage is an exhibition that documents artistic intervention in cultural heritage or memory sites that are off the beaten track, neglected or simply not accessible. They have in common a strong potential for future public use, to reflect on our presentatday situation in a historic perspective. The artworks create awareness for a place and its stories, they open up what is actually closed.
.

” My Future Heritage can be seen as a pilot, a stepping stone to the broader European project INSIDE OUT  jointly co-ordinated by Castrum Peregrini and the Goethe Institute Paris, launched November 2012. In this project 8 institutions will work on the artist and the public in memory settings: University of the Arts London, UK; Palazzo Spinelli, Florence, Italy; ACER, Tondela, Portugal; National University of the Arts, Bucharest, Romania; Lithuanian Music, Film and Theatre Museum, Vilnius; Living History Forum, Stockholm, Sweden;
